The Latitude 7400 sits in Dell's premium business range, and it remains a sensible everyday machine. The quad-core i5-8365U handles the full spread of office work comfortably — documents, large spreadsheets, email, video calls and a browser full of tabs all run without hesitation.
Storage is the part that matters most to how a machine feels day to day, and this one has a PCIe NVMe SSD rather than SATA. Cold boots land in seconds and applications open immediately. Paired with 8GB of memory it is well matched to standard business workloads; if you routinely run virtual machines or very large datasets, a 16GB machine will serve you better.
Where the 7400 earns its keep is portability and build. Every machine through our Melbourne workshop goes through the same intake process. It is not a visual check — each unit is powered up, tested component by component, and the results recorded against its serial number.
Does it have a touchscreen?
No. This unit has a 14" Full HD anti-glare non-touch panel — the matte finish most business users prefer for long sessions.
Does it have built-in mobile broadband?
No. This configuration connects via Wi-Fi or by tethering to a phone. Some Latitude 7400 units were built with a WWAN card, but this one was not.
Can the memory and storage be upgraded?
The Latitude 7400 uses a standard M.2 NVMe SSD which can be replaced with a larger drive. Memory options depend on the specific board configuration.
What is included in the box?
The laptop and a compatible power adapter. Original packaging and manuals are not included.
How is shipping handled?

How does the warranty work if something fails?

Has the previous owner's data been removed?
Yes. Every drive is securely erased to recognised data destruction standards and the operating system freshly reimaged before the machine is listed.
