The T14s Gen 2 was the point where AMD's Ryzen PRO chips became the interesting option in a business ThinkPad rather than the budget one. The Ryzen 5 PRO 5650U is a six-core, twelve-thread part built on Zen 3, running at 2.3GHz base and boosting to around 4.2GHz. Against the four-core ultrabook processors it shared shelf space with, the extra cores are most obvious when several demanding things happen at once.
In practice that means a full working day's worth of applications open together — a browser with thirty tabs, Teams in a call, Outlook, a couple of large workbooks — without the machine becoming sluggish when you switch between them. The integrated Radeon graphics are also a step up on the Intel equivalents of the period, enough for smooth external display work and light photo editing, though not for 3D or serious video rendering.
The 256GB NVMe SSD keeps boot and application launch times short. Where this configuration earns its place is sustained multitasking on the move: it is light enough to carry all day, and it does not slow down when you ask it to do several things at once.

AMD. It runs a Ryzen 5 PRO 5650U, a six-core twelve-thread processor from AMD's business PRO line, with integrated Radeon graphics.
Can the memory be upgraded?
No. The T14s Gen 2 uses soldered LPDDR4x memory, so the 16GB fitted here is the working configuration for the life of the machine.
Is it a touchscreen?
No. This configuration has a 14" FHD anti-glare non-touch display.
Does it come with Windows 11?
Yes. It ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and activated, so there is no upgrade step to complete.
What is included in the box?
The laptop and a compatible power adapter. Original packaging, manuals and accessories are not included unless specifically noted.
Has the previous owner's data been removed?
Yes. Every drive is securely erased to recognised data destruction standards and the operating system freshly reimaged before the machine is listed.
