It also houses an integrated Intel HD Graphics 5000 graphics processor that shares system memory.
This sleek laptop is designed with a thin aluminum case measuring 0.11-0.68 inches and weighs just 2.96 pounds. It includes a 720p FaceTime HD webcam, a backlit full-size keyboard, and a 13.3" widescreen TFT LED backlit active-matrix glossy display with a native resolution of 1440x900.
Connectivity options are robust, featuring 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, analog audio out, a Thunderbolt port, two USB 3.0 ports, and an SDXC-capable SD card slot. While there is no internal Ethernet, an external Thunderbolt adapter was available as an option.
In comparison to its predecessor, this MacBook Air maintains a similar external design but benefits from a more efficient processor and architecture, resulting in significantly improved battery life, faster graphics, enhanced storage speed, and quicker Wi-Fi connectivity.
