The TESmart HKE0611A10 transmitter and receiver pair extends 1080p 60Hz HDMI video, USB keyboard and mouse, and IR control up to 60 metres over one CAT5e/6 cable. Backed by a 12-month Reboot IT warranty with free standard AU shipping.

Performance in Use

A KVM extender separates the computer from the person using it. Put the PC or server in a comms room, plant room or lockable cabinet with the HKE0611A10 transmitter connected to its HDMI and USB ports, run one network cable to the desk, reception counter or control room, and plug a monitor, keyboard and mouse into the receiver. The user works as if the computer were under the desk, while the hardware stays secure, cool and quiet.

The same setup suits digital signage and AV installations. A media player or PC behind a counter can drive a display up to 60 metres away at 1080p 60Hz, and the IR pass-through lets a handheld remote at the screen end control the source. EDID pass-through helps the source choose a resolution the remote display supports.

Using existing CAT5e or CAT6 cabling avoids expensive long HDMI and USB cables and the signal loss that comes with them. Each end has power and connection LEDs to make installation and fault-finding straightforward, and both units run from a DC 5V 1A supply.
