The Fortinet PIN060-54PR is a 60-watt 54-volt 802.3bt Power over Ethernet injector designed for Fortinet FortiSwitch and FortiAP devices. It powers high-wattage network devices over a single Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for a local power socket at the device location. Backed by a 12-month Reboot IT warranty with free standard AU shipping.

PoE injectors are the practical solution when you need to power a network device at a location without a nearby power point — ceiling-mounted access points, outdoor cameras, IP phones at remote desks, or wall-mounted FortiSwitch units. The PIN060-54PR sits between your existing switch and the powered device: Ethernet in from the switch, Ethernet and power out to the device, AC power in from a standard wall outlet.

At 60W, the PIN060-54PR has the headroom to power high-demand FortiAP access points and entry-level FortiSwitch units. The 54V output is matched to Fortinet's power architecture, making it the correct injector for Fortinet hardware rather than a generic alternative that may supply incorrect voltage.

For field deployments and retrofits where a PoE switch is not available or impractical to install, the PIN060-54PR provides a cost-effective single-port PoE solution that integrates cleanly into any Fortinet networking environment.

Will this work with non-Fortinet PoE devices?

The PIN060-54PR is designed and tested for Fortinet FortiSwitch and FortiAP devices. While it is 802.3bt standard, the 54V output may differ from the 48V used by some third-party devices. Verify your device's power requirements before use.

Does it affect data throughput?

No. The injector passes data at Gigabit Ethernet speeds (up to 1Gbps) — it only adds the PoE power signal and does not throttle bandwidth.

What cable length can I use between the injector and the device?

Standard Ethernet cable length limits apply — up to 100 metres (328 feet) from injector to powered device, including the cable from the upstream switch to the injector.

Does it come with an Ethernet cable?

No. Ethernet cables are not included. Standard Cat5e or Cat6 patch cables are required for both the input (from switch) and output (to device) connections.

What is the warranty?

All Reboot IT products include a 12-month warranty. If a hardware fault develops within 12 months, we repair or replace at no cost.

All-in-one Solution for Home Office

Fair tech for price

Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.

Works excellently as advertised.

The laptop was sold with a warning about worn keycaps. In fact they had been obviously vandalised (ex school laptops, perhaps?). The keyboard worked fine, and the rest of the laptop too. I'm using it as a file server, so I don't need the keyboard much. So very pleased, and also pleased with reboot-it's service - as always, excellent, and quick responses to any queries.
