Lenovo has outfitted the ThinkPad X270 with a 500GB SATA hard drive The operating system installed is Windows 10 Pro. With an integrated fingerprint reader, you can access the operating system without typing a password. In addition, a 4-in-1 card reader is on board, so you can transfer or load content from MMC, SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards.
Accessing networks can be accomplished via the ThinkPad's Gigabit Ethernet port or 802.11ac Wi-Fi. Once connected online, the X270 provides a 720p webcam, a pair of 1.5W speakers, and a dual-array microphone to conduct video conferencing calls. Bluetooth 4.1 is also available for wireless connections to headsets and external speakers. To connect with printers and external storage drives, the notebook offers two USB 3.0 ports. Moreover, accurate mouse cursor movements can be had by utilizing the X270's built-in multi-touch touchpad or TrackPoint pointing device.
