Lenovo ThinkBook 15 G4 15.6" FHD i5-1235U 12th Gen 16GB 512GB SSD Win 11 Pro Wty

Lenovo ThinkBook 15 G4 — 15.6" Business Laptop

A 15.6-inch business laptop built around the 10-core Intel Core i5-1235U with 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD, running Windows 11 Pro. Supplied with a 12-month Reboot IT warranty and free Australian shipping.

Key Benefits

• 10-core 12th Gen processor — the i5-1235U pairs two performance cores with eight efficient cores, so foreground work stays fast while background tasks are handled without draining the battery.
• 16GB of memory as standard — the specification that removes the ceiling — large spreadsheets, thirty browser tabs and a video call coexist without the system slowing down.
• 512GB solid-state storage — fast NVMe storage with genuine working room for a full Microsoft 365 install, local project files and an offline cloud copy.
• Full-size keyboard with numeric keypad — the 15.6-inch chassis makes room for a number pad — a real advantage for accounting, data entry and anyone living in spreadsheets.
• Intel Iris Xe graphics — 12th Gen integrated graphics comfortably drive two external monitors and handle light photo work and video playback.
• Free Australian shipping — tracked delivery anywhere in Australia at no extra cost, with a 12-month warranty behind it.

Performance in Use

The Core i5-1235U is a 12th-generation hybrid processor: two performance cores handle the application in front of you, while eight efficient cores absorb background work like sync, indexing and updates. In practice that means the machine stays responsive when it is busy, rather than stalling the moment something starts in the background.

With 16GB of memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD, this is a configuration that will not need managing. Applications launch immediately, large files open without a pause, and there is enough memory headroom that Windows is not constantly swapping to disk — the single most common reason an otherwise capable laptop feels slow after a year.

The 15.6-inch Full HD screen and full-size keyboard with numeric keypad make it a desk-first machine that travels when it needs to. It suits accounting, administration, project work and anyone who spends the day in Excel. For sustained video rendering, CAD or gaming, a system with dedicated graphics is the right tool instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the battery replaced?

Batteries are tested, not automatically replaced. Grade A units hold 70% or more of original design capacity and Grade B units 40–69%. Every battery carries 7-day dead-battery cover.

Can I upgrade the memory?

The ThinkBook 15 G4 combines onboard memory with a single SO-DIMM slot, so some expansion is possible depending on the exact board revision. Treat 16GB as the working specification and verify the slot configuration if you plan to upgrade.

Can I upgrade the SSD?

Yes. The 512GB M.2 NVMe drive is accessible under the base panel and can be replaced with a larger drive.

Does it have a numeric keypad?

Yes — the 15.6-inch chassis includes a full-size keyboard with a dedicated number pad.

How many external monitors can it drive?

Two external displays via HDMI and USB-C, which is the standard business desk arrangement.

Is Windows genuine?

Yes. Windows 11 Pro is installed and activated against the licence embedded in the unit.

What are the delivery options?

Free standard AU shipping with tracking is included.
