The G7 refined the 840 platform: the same premium aluminium build as the G6, moved to Intel’s 10th-generation Comet Lake platform and a faster NVMe drive. The result is a machine that still feels current for office work.
The i5-10310U is a quad-core, eight-thread processor with vPro. With 16GB of memory it handles the everyday load — a large browser session, Office, Teams, a PDF viewer — without slowing down, and the NVMe drive keeps application launch and file copies quick.
This is a mainstream business laptop and a strong all-rounder. It is not intended for video editing, 3D work or gaming, all of which want discrete graphics.
