Casio XJ-M240 Laser & LED Hybrid Projector – 2500 Lumens WXGA

A lamp-free DLP projector from Casio with a Laser & LED Hybrid light source rated for around 20,000 hours, 2500 lumens and native WXGA resolution. It connects over HDMI or VGA, supports 3D, and is backed by a 12-month warranty from Reboot IT.

Performance in Use

Traditional projectors need a replacement lamp every few thousand hours. The XJ-M240 uses Casio’s mercury-free Laser & LED Hybrid light source instead, rated for about 20,000 hours, so there are no lamp purchases and no gradual dimming from an ageing bulb over a typical school or office life.

Its 2500-lumen DLP engine and native WXGA resolution suit widescreen laptops in classrooms and meeting rooms. HDMI and VGA inputs cover modern and older devices, while composite and S-Video inputs connect document cameras and AV equipment. The 1.5x optical zoom helps it fit an existing mount or table position.

For schools, 3D projection is supported with optional active shutter glasses and compatible software over the VGA input. RS-232C control allows integration with room control systems, and the built-in 5W speaker handles basic presentation audio.
