Yealink UVC84 4K USB PTZ Conferencing Camera

The Yealink UVC84 brings 4K video, 12x optical zoom and motorised pan-tilt-zoom to medium and large meeting rooms over a simple USB connection. Auto framing keeps everyone in view, and every unit is backed by a 12-month Reboot IT warranty.

Performance in Use

The UVC84 is designed for rooms where a fixed wide-angle webcam falls short. Installed at the front of a boardroom or training room, its 12x optical zoom frames people at the far end of the table without the soft, pixelated look of digital zoom, and 4K output keeps detail on large displays.

It connects to the room PC over USB 2.0 as a standard UVC camera, so Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and other platforms see it as a normal camera. Pan, tilt and zoom can be driven from a Yealink remote or Yealink camera control software, and presets let you jump between a whole-room view and a presenter position. Auto Framing handles the camera work when nobody wants to.

For audio, the UVC84 includes a Yealink microphone port (RJ-45) for a VCM34 array or VCM38 ceiling microphone, plus a 3.5mm line-out for a soundbar or speaker, so a medium room can be built around the camera. Note the camera has no built-in microphone or speaker of its own.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this UVC84 come with a power adapter?

No. This unit is supplied without its power adapter. The UVC84 is not powered over USB and needs a Yealink DC 48V 0.7A power adapter to operate.

Does the UVC84 have a microphone?

No. It is a camera only. Add a Yealink VCM34 microphone array through its microphone port, or use a separate USB speakerphone.

Which platforms does it work with?

It is a standard UVC 1.0 USB camera, so it works with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Webex and most other platforms on Windows and macOS.

How do I control pan, tilt and zoom?

Use a Yealink VCR20 remote or Yealink camera control software. Presets can store positions you use often.

What room size does it suit?

Yealink positions the UVC84 for medium and large rooms, thanks to its 12x optical zoom and 80 degree field of view.
