The 55BDL4050D is designed for the places a consumer TV isn't: reception areas, retail windows, menu boards, meeting rooms and corridors where a screen runs all day, every day. Its 450 cd/m² panel and 1100:1 contrast deliver clear Full HD content, and 178° viewing angles keep it readable from the side of a room.
Because the media player is built in, a single display can run a signage loop on its own. Copy videos, images or PDFs onto a USB drive or into the 16GB internal storage and set a schedule, or run an Android app or web content through the integrated browser. FailOver can switch to a backup input if the primary source drops, keeping something on screen at all times.
For larger installs, the display joins a network over RJ45 or Wi-Fi and can be controlled via RS232 or Philips CMND & Control, and DisplayPort loop-through supports video walls of up to 15 x 15 screens. It mounts in portrait or landscape on a standard 400 x 400 mm VESA wall bracket.
