Lenovo ThinkPad T470 i5 7200U 2.5GHz 16GB 256GB SSD W10P 14" Laptop · B-Grade

The Lenovo 14" ThinkPad T470 Notebook is well suited for business and government users who are on-the-go by coming in under 3.7 pounds and equipped with security features as well as an Intel Core i5-7200U processor, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB SSD. The Intel Core i5-7200U processor comes armed with two cores that operate at a stock speed of 2.5 GHz and can achieve speeds of up to 3.1 GHz when running demanding tasks. In addition to providing quick boot times and access to data, the 256GB PCIe NVMe M.2 Opal 2.0 SSD secures sensitive data with a hardware-based AES-256 encryption engine, which self-encrypts data on the fly. Other notable security technologies include vPro as well as TPM 2.0 that grants the notebook an added layer of security by storing passwords on a crypto chip rather than the storage drive to make the T470 compliant for most corporate and government institutions.

Furthermore, gaining access to notebook can be done without typing a password by using the onboard fingerprint reader. Lenovo has outfitted this ThinkPad T470 notebook with a 14" IPS display that has a brightness level of 250 cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 700:1, and a native resolution of 1920 x 1080, which is driven by an integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 chipset. For expanding the onscreen workspace, HDMI 1.4b and Thunderbolt 3 ports are on board.

Aside from visuals, the ThinkPad T470 is equipped with three USB 3.0 Type-A ports, so that the Windows 10 Pro operating system can access printers, external storage drives, and other useful peripherals. Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11ac Wi-Fi are available for wired and wireless networking, while Bluetooth 4.1 technology will allow you to wirelessly pair the system with headsets and mice. Once connected online, you may conduct face-to-face conversations with coworkers and friends, using the integrated webcam, pair of speakers, and microphone. There's also a 4-in-1 card reader that can accept MMC, SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards.
