This laptop is sold with a faulty RJ-45 (wired Ethernet) port. The port does not establish a network connection and cannot be relied on. Everything else has been tested and works to specification, and the machine connects normally over Wi-Fi. If you need wired networking, a USB-C or USB-A Ethernet adapter restores it for a modest cost — otherwise, Wi-Fi covers most day-to-day use. This fault is reflected in the price and is excluded from the 12-month warranty; every other component remains fully covered.
The i5-10210U is a quad-core processor with Hyper-Threading, giving 8 threads of processing. In daily use it comfortably runs Microsoft 365, a browser with a reasonable number of tabs, Teams or Zoom calls and background cloud sync. It is a well-proven business chip that remains more than capable for standard office workloads.
The 8GB of RAM suits focused work — Office applications, email, browsing and video conferencing. If your habit is thirty browser tabs alongside several large applications, a 16GB machine will serve you better; for typical business use, 8GB with a fast SSD feels responsive. The 256GB NVMe drive leaves roughly 190–200GB free after Windows 11 and standard applications, which is ample for documents and software with cloud storage handling larger archives.
The 14-inch Full HD screen strikes a practical balance between working area and portability, and the chassis remains genuinely portable for commuting or moving between meetings. Wireless networking is unaffected by the port fault, so the machine behaves entirely normally on Wi-Fi in an office, at home or on the road.

What exactly is wrong with the Ethernet port?
The RJ-45 wired network port does not establish a connection. It has been tested and confirmed non-functional, which is why this unit is priced below an equivalent fault-free machine. Nothing else on the laptop is affected.
Can I still get a wired network connection?
Yes. A USB-C or USB-A to Gigabit Ethernet adapter plugs straight in and works with Windows 11 without extra drivers. These are inexpensive and widely available, and many USB-C docks include Ethernet as standard.
Does Wi-Fi work normally?
Yes. Wireless networking and Bluetooth are fully functional and unaffected by the port fault. For most users working from an office, home or on the road, Wi-Fi handles everything the wired port would have.
Is 8GB of RAM enough?
For focused business use — Office applications, email, browsing and video calls — 8GB paired with an NVMe SSD feels responsive. If you routinely keep many large applications and dozens of browser tabs open together, consider a 16GB configuration instead.
Does it come with Windows 11 Pro activated?
Yes. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed and activated. The laptop arrives ready for you to set up your user account — no additional licence purchase required.
What does the warranty cover?
The 12-month warranty covers all hardware components — motherboard, display, keyboard, trackpad, SSD, wireless and the remaining ports — against defects and functional failures under normal use.
