The HP EliteBook 840 G6 is a slim, magnesium-reinforced 14-inch business laptop built for professionals who need enterprise-grade security and all-day portability. Backed by a 12-month Reboot IT warranty, it pairs an Intel Core i5-8365U quad-core processor with 8GB of memory and a fast 256GB NVMe SSD, all driving a crisp 14" Full HD display and Windows 11 Pro.
For everyday office work, the EliteBook 840 G6 is comfortably in its element. The quad-core i5-8365U and 8GB of RAM keep Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams and a dozen browser tabs running smoothly, while the NVMe SSD means Windows 11 Pro wakes and resumes almost instantly. It is an ideal machine for accountants, administrators, consultants and anyone whose day revolves around documents, email and video calls.
Take it on the road and the thin, lightweight chassis slips easily into a bag for client visits, hot-desking or working from a cafe. The 14" Full HD anti-glare display gives you enough screen real estate to work side-by-side in two windows, and the spill-resistant backlit keyboard makes early-morning and late-night sessions painless. A generous port selection — including USB-C, USB-A, HDMI and an optional WWAN slot — means you can connect to monitors, docks and peripherals without a bag full of adapters.
For heavier lifting such as large spreadsheets, light photo editing or running a couple of virtual machines for testing, the 840 G6 remains a capable performer for its class. If your workload is memory-hungry, the platform supports a RAM upgrade down the track, giving this machine a longer, more flexible working life.
