Epson EB-455Wi Interactive Ultra Short Throw Projector – 2500 Lumens WXGA

An ultra short throw 3LCD classroom projector from Epson with 2500 lumens, native WXGA resolution and interactive pen support. It projects a 59 to 94-inch image from very close to the wall, and is backed by a 12-month warranty from Reboot IT.

Performance in Use

Ultra short throw projection changes how a room works. Mounted just above a whiteboard or screen, the EB-455Wi projects a 59 to 94-inch image from a very short distance, so presenters can stand at the board without walking through the beam or squinting into the lamp.

The 2500-lumen 3LCD engine delivers equal white and colour brightness, keeping charts, photos and videos clear in a classroom with the lights on. Native WXGA resolution matches widescreen laptops, and two VGA inputs make it easy to switch between a teacher PC and a document camera or second laptop.

Add Epson interactive pens and the projected image becomes a touch-free interactive surface for writing notes and annotating lessons. The RJ45 LAN port lets IT staff monitor and control projectors across a school from one place, and the built-in 12W speaker covers audio for most rooms.

Are a remote control, wall mount or interactive pens included?

No. The projector is supplied without a remote control, wall mount, bracket or interactive pens. These are not included and must be purchased separately.

How many lamp hours are left?

Lamp hours are checked at testing and vary by unit. The lamp is rated for up to 2500 hours in normal mode and 3500 hours in eco mode.

How big is the image?

It projects an image from 59 to 94 inches from a very short distance using its 0.37:1 throw ratio.

Does it have wireless?

Wireless LAN is available with an optional Epson module, which is not included.
