The Latitude 7000 series is Dell's premium business line, and the 7430 shows it. The 12th-generation i5-1235U provides ten cores — two performance, eight efficient — so demanding foreground work and background tasks are handled separately rather than competing. With 16GB of memory the machine simply does not run out of headroom during a normal working day.
The 256GB NVMe SSD keeps everything immediate: cold boot, wake, and application launch all happen without a wait. Is the battery replaced?
Batteries are tested, not automatically replaced. Grade A units hold 70% or more of original design capacity and Grade B units 40–69%. Every battery carries 7-day dead-battery cover.
Can the memory be upgraded beyond 16GB?
No — memory on the Latitude 7430 is onboard and cannot be changed. 16GB is the configuration for the life of the machine, which is why this is the specification worth having.
Can I upgrade the SSD?
Yes. The 256GB M.2 NVMe drive is accessible under the base panel and can be replaced with a larger drive.
What can I connect through Thunderbolt 4?
Power, wired network, and two 4K displays over a single cable to a Thunderbolt or USB-C dock, plus external drives at up to 40Gbps.
Does the camera support Windows Hello?
Yes — it is a Full HD camera with an infrared sensor for face sign-in, and it has a physical privacy shutter.
Is Windows genuine?
Yes. Windows 11 Pro is installed and activated against the licence embedded in the unit.
