The Core i7-1185G7 was the flagship of Intel's 11th Gen U-series: four cores, eight threads, a 3.0GHz base and a 4.8GHz boost, paired with Iris Xe graphics that are markedly stronger than the UHD 620 parts that came before. For a thin convertible, it is a lot of processor.
The 32GB of memory is what makes this configuration unusual. Most machines in this class ship with 8GB or 16GB. With 32GB you can run virtual machines, keep very large spreadsheets or datasets open, and never think about closing applications to free memory - which is why this configuration tends to appeal to developers, analysts and consultants.
As a convertible it does the usual tricks well: fold flat to sign or annotate, tent it to present, or use it as a tablet for reading. The Gorilla Glass 6 panel is meaningfully tougher than a standard touchscreen, which matters on a machine designed to be handled rather than left on a desk.
