CleanDigital DEM2 HDMI Audio De-embedder (No Power Adapter)

The CleanDigital DEM2 is an HDMI audio de-embedder. It takes one HDMI input, passes the signal through to an HDMI output, and extracts the audio to a 3.5mm stereo analogue output so you can feed it to speakers, an amplifier or a mixer.

These are pre-owned units in Excellent condition, each powered on at Reboot IT in Melbourne. No power adapter is included, so you will need to supply a suitable one.

Performance in Use

Plenty of HDMI sources, such as media players, laptops and set-top boxes, only send their audio down the HDMI cable. If the display's speakers are not good enough, or you need the sound in another system, a de-embedder is the fix. The DEM2 sits in the HDMI line, sends the picture on to the display, and gives you the audio on a 3.5mm stereo output.

From there you can run a 3.5mm cable to powered speakers or an amplifier, or to a mixer input in a meeting room or venue. The HDMI output means the display keeps getting the picture as normal.

These units are sold without a power adapter. You will need a compatible adapter before the DEM2 will run; check CleanDigital's specification for the correct rating before you buy one, or contact us for help.
