The Cisco Catalyst WS-C2960X-48FPS-L is a 48-port Gigabit managed switch with full PoE+ across every port (740W power budget), SFP fibre uplinks and FlexStack-Plus stacking. A dependable enterprise access-layer switch for offices powering IP phones, cameras and access points — backed by a 12-month Reboot IT warranty.

Performance in Use

The 2960X-48FPS-L is a workhorse access-layer switch for small and medium business networks. With 48 Gigabit ports and full PoE+ on every one, it powers a floor of IP phones, wireless access points and security cameras directly — no separate power injectors or midspans, and no cable clutter.

As a fully managed switch it gives IT complete control: VLAN segmentation, QoS for voice and video, port security and monitoring, all configurable through the intuitive web GUI or the full Cisco command line. That makes it equally suitable for a first managed switch or a Cisco-standardised environment.

FlexStack-Plus lets you stack up to eight units and administer them as one logical switch, so the network scales cleanly as the business grows. The SFP uplinks provide fibre connectivity to the core or between buildings, and 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet trims power use when links are quiet.

Fair tech for price

Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.
