This makes the ERS 4524GT-PWR ideally suited for use as a Wiring Closet LAN switch in contemporary enterprise desktop deployment scenarios, where Gigabit Ethernet is regarded as a strategic requirement. The support for full standards-based Power-over-Ethernet positions the ERS 4524GT-PWR for use in convergence-centric networks.
