Description

Aruba AP-565 APEX0565 — Wi-Fi 6 Outdoor Rugged Access Point

An IP67-rated outdoor Wi-Fi 6 access point built for harsh conditions, delivering up to 1.77 Gbps with integrated IoT radios and PoE+. Backed by a 12-month Reboot IT warranty.

Key Benefits

  • Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) outdoor performance: Dual-radio 802.11ax with OFDMA and MU-MIMO delivers up to 1.77 Gbps for efficient outdoor and high-density coverage.
  • IP67 rugged, weatherproof enclosure: Sealed against dust and water immersion, and rated for wide temperature extremes for reliable operation outdoors year-round.
  • Integrated omni antennas + IoT radio: Built-in antennas plus a Bluetooth 5 and Zigbee radio support coverage and IoT/location without extra hardware.
  • PoE+ powered: A single outdoor-rated Ethernet run carries data and power via IEEE 802.3at for straightforward pole or wall mounting.
  • Flexible Aruba management: Runs with Aruba Instant or Aruba Central / ArubaOS for scalable, policy-driven wireless across indoor and outdoor cells.
  • Certified refurbished with 12-month warranty: Professionally tested and graded by Reboot IT — Melbourne's enterprise networking specialists since 2001.

Performance in Use

The Aruba AP-565 brings Wi-Fi 6 to the outdoors. Its IP67-rated, temperature-hardened enclosure is designed for courtyards, warehouses, loading docks, campuses, stadiums and other exposed areas where indoor APs cannot survive. OFDMA and MU-MIMO keep it efficient even when many devices connect at once.

With concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios and up to 1.77 Gbps aggregate, a single AP-565 covers a substantial outdoor area with fast, low-latency Wi-Fi. Integrated Bluetooth 5 and Zigbee radios add location services and IoT capability for asset tracking and smart-site applications.

Deployment is flexible through Aruba Instant or Aruba Central / ArubaOS, so the AP-565 slots into an existing Aruba estate to extend coverage outdoors. As with other ex-enterprise Aruba APs, confirm your intended firmware/management model (Instant vs Central) before deployment.
