Performance in Use

The OptiPlex 7090 is Dell's premium 7-series business desktop, and this configuration is built for a productive working day. The Intel Core i5-11500 is a 65W, six-core, twelve-thread Rocket Lake processor, so it handles the everyday multitasking load of an office — email, Teams or Zoom, a CRM in the browser, and a large Excel workbook — comfortably at the same time. Paired with 16GB of DDR4 memory, it avoids the slowdowns that 8GB machines hit once a dozen tabs and a video call are open.

Storage is a 256GB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro boots in seconds, applications open almost instantly, and file searches and updates finish quickly. For reception desks, accounts teams, classrooms and home offices, it is the kind of responsiveness that makes a working day feel shorter.

Graphics are integrated Intel graphics, which drive two monitors over the rear DisplayPort 1.4 outputs for side-by-side documents and dashboards. It is not designed for 3D gaming or heavy video rendering. Networking is wired Ethernet through the rear RJ-45 port; this build has no built-in Wi-Fi card, so our USB WiFi Dongle (300Mbps) is the simple option for a desk without a network cable.

Does it have Wi-Fi?

No. This build connects by wired Ethernet through the rear RJ-45 port. If you need wireless, our USB WiFi Dongle (300Mbps) plugs straight into one of the ten USB ports.

Can I run two monitors?

Yes. The two rear DisplayPort 1.4 outputs drive two monitors from the integrated graphics. Monitors with HDMI inputs connect with a DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter or cable.

Is Windows 11 Pro installed and activated?

Yes. It ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and ready to set up on first start.

Is a keyboard, mouse or monitor included?

No. You receive the computer and a power cord. Any USB keyboard and mouse will work, and a monitor connects over DisplayPort.

Can the memory or storage be upgraded later?

Yes. The OptiPlex 7090 SFF uses standard DDR4 memory and M.2 NVMe storage, so both can be expanded. Contact our team if you would like help choosing parts.

Has my data been wiped and the machine tested?

Yes. Every unit is securely data-wiped with certified software, then the processor, memory, storage, USB ports and video outputs are tested before a fresh Windows 11 Pro installation.
