This is a bare system board harvested from a working Latitude 7320 2-in-1. It is the right repair part when the board itself has failed — a unit that no longer powers on, liquid damage that reached the board, or a tablet with an intact touch display and keyboard folio that is worth considerably more repaired than parted out. Detachables carry an expensive display assembly, which is exactly why board-level repair usually makes financial sense on this model.
The i5-1140G7 is Tiger Lake UP4 silicon — Intel's low-power design for thin detachables. Four cores and eight threads handle Office, heavy browser use, Teams and Zoom calls and light photo editing comfortably, while Iris Xe graphics drive the internal panel plus external displays over Thunderbolt or USB-C. With 16GB of memory on board it has real headroom for a machine of this size, and it stays cool and quiet under typical business load.
One important note on this platform: memory is soldered to the board and cannot be upgraded. The 16GB this board carries is fixed for the life of the machine, which makes a 16GB board worth seeking out over an 8GB one. Storage and the wireless card remain modular. Installation is a technician-level job — transferring the board, reconnecting the display, digitiser, battery, antennas and I/O, and reapplying thermal material. We recommend fitting by an experienced repairer.

How do I confirm this is the right board?
Check the label on your existing board for the Dell part number. If it reads PC4WK, this is a direct replacement. Boards with other part numbers carry different processor or memory configurations.
Is the 16GB of RAM really included?
Yes. The Latitude 7320 2-in-1 uses LPDDR4x soldered directly to the board, so the memory is physically part of the board and ships with it. There is nothing extra to buy.
Can I upgrade the RAM later?
No. There are no SODIMM slots on this platform. The 16GB is fixed permanently, which is why a 16GB board is worth more than an 8GB one.
Will it fit the Latitude 7320 clamshell?
No. Dell sold the 7320 as both a detachable 2-in-1 and a conventional clamshell laptop, and they use different boards. This is the detachable board.
Can I upgrade the CPU?
No — the i5-1140G7 is permanently soldered. Storage and the wireless card are the user-replaceable parts.
Does it run Windows 11?
Yes. The 11th-Gen i5-1140G7 is on Microsoft's supported processor list, so this platform runs Windows 11 officially as well as Windows 10.
