Is the BIOS locked, and what does that mean?
Yes — this unit has a BIOS/UEFI password set. In everyday use it makes no difference: the laptop powers on and boots straight into Windows 11 Pro from the installed SSD, and all hardware, ports, wireless and the touchscreen work normally. The only limitation is that BIOS/UEFI setup settings cannot be accessed or changed (for example, altering boot order or BIOS configuration). If you need full BIOS access, this unit is not suitable.
Does it have a touchscreen?
Yes — the 13.3" Full HD IPS display is a 10-point anti-glare touchscreen.
Can I upgrade the RAM or storage?
The 16GB DDR4 RAM is soldered and cannot be upgraded. The M.2 NVMe SSD can be replaced with a larger drive.

Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.
The laptop was sold with a warning about worn keycaps. In fact they had been obviously vandalised (ex school laptops, perhaps?). The keyboard worked fine, and the rest of the laptop too. I'm using it as a file server, so I don't need the keyboard much. So very pleased, and also pleased with reboot-it's service - as always, excellent, and quick responses to any queries.
