Performance in Use
The D6000 is built for hot-desking and mixed fleets. Because it uses DisplayLink over USB, it works with USB-C laptops and with older machines that only have USB 3.0 Type-A — one dock for the whole office.
On a USB-C laptop it drives up to three 4K displays and charges the laptop at up to 65W through the same cable. On a USB 3.0 connection it drives up to two displays.
Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a front USB-C data port and a headset jack cover the rest of the desk. DisplayLink drivers are required and are available free from Dell and DisplayLink.
