Performance in Use

In a typical four to six person huddle room, the UVC40 mounts above or below the display and connects to the room PC or a laptop over USB. Because it presents itself as a standard UVC camera and UAC audio device, platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and Cisco Webex pick it up as camera, microphone and speaker without special drivers.

The 133 degree lens is what makes it work in small rooms: people seated close to the screen at the ends of the table stay in shot, which a narrow webcam cannot manage. Auto Framing tightens the view when only a couple of people are present and widens it as others join, while Speaker Tracking moves the digital frame to whoever is talking so remote participants can follow the conversation.

On the audio side, the eight-microphone array steers its pickup toward the voice and suppresses keyboard noise and room echo, and the built-in 5W speaker is sized for a small meeting space.
