The LIP-8024D is the handset you put on the busiest desks in the building. With 24 programmable buttons and tri-colour LEDs, a receptionist can see at a glance which lines are ringing, which colleagues are on a call, and which are free — transferring and managing multiple callers without hunting through menus. The 4-line backlit LCD keeps caller and call information clearly in view even under office lighting.
For managers and power users, the context-sensitive soft keys put the right options within reach at each step of a call, while the extensive button array holds a full set of speed dials and feature keys. When even 24 buttons aren't enough — think a switchboard or a large reception — DSS/LSS expansion modules clip on to add banks of additional keys, scaling the phone to the role.
Deployment is straightforward: the handset draws power over Ethernet, so it powers up and registers to your iPECS platform from a single PoE switch port, and the dual LAN ports let a desktop PC share the same cable run. As part of the LG-Ericsson iPECS 8000-series range, the 8024D integrates cleanly with iPECS call servers and other 8000-series handsets for a consistent experience across the fleet.

No — the LIP-8024D is a system handset that registers to an LG-Ericsson iPECS call server. It is ideal for adding to or replacing handsets on an existing iPECS platform.
How many programmable buttons does it have?
The LIP-8024D has 24 programmable buttons with tri-colour LED indicators, and it supports DSS/LSS expansion modules to add even more keys for high-volume reception roles.
Is it powered over Ethernet?
Yes. The phone draws power from a PoE switch port (802.3af), so a single cable carries both data and power. If you don't have PoE, a compatible power adapter can be used instead.
Can my PC share the network cable with the phone?
Yes. The phone has a second LAN port for PC pass-through, so your computer can connect through the phone and share a single network drop.
What condition will I receive it in?

Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.
