The DL360 Gen9 is a proven enterprise workhorse — its Xeon E5 V4 platform underpins a large share of VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, and KVM virtualisation deployments in Australian data centres. With 32GB ECC RAM and fast SSD primary storage, this unit comfortably hosts 4–8 light virtual machines or 2–4 resource-intensive ones, making it an economical on-premises virtualisation platform for SMBs or a development/test environment for larger enterprises.

The 1TB 10K SAS drive provides a secondary storage tier for VM snapshots, log archives, or shared folder use within the server. The iLO4 remote management interface allows full out-of-band server management — remote console, power control, and hardware health monitoring — without requiring physical rack access.

Fair tech for price

Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.

Works excellently as advertised.

The laptop was sold with a warning about worn keycaps. In fact they had been obviously vandalised (ex school laptops, perhaps?). The keyboard worked fine, and the rest of the laptop too. I'm using it as a file server, so I don't need the keyboard much. So very pleased, and also pleased with reboot-it's service - as always, excellent, and quick responses to any queries.
