What is a refurbished device?
A refurbished device is a pre-owned item that has been restored to meet high-quality standards. At Reboot IT, we adhere to strict quality guidelines, ensuring that our refurbished products are not the same as used or secondhand items. We meticulously clean, test, and assess each device, replacing worn parts with high-quality components.
Unlike used items, which lack guarantees and rely solely on the seller's word regarding condition, refurbished devices come with assurance of quality and reliability.

A 24-port gigabit Layer 2 managed switch with four fixed SFP slots in a compact 1U chassis, managed through a web browser, CLI or SNMP. Backed by a 12-month warranty.
The 2530-24G is the workhorse access switch of the ProCurve line and one of the most common we see in small and mid-size sites. Twenty-four gigabit ports cover a floor of desks, a classroom or a small office, and the four SFP slots let the uplink back to the core run over fibre without a separate media converter.
Being fully managed is what makes it worth choosing over an unmanaged switch. Put voice, data and guest traffic on separate VLANs, prioritise voice with QoS so calls stay clear under load, bond two ports with LACP for a faster uplink, and mirror a port when you need to see what is on the wire. With 56 Gb/s of switching capacity, all 24 ports can run at full gigabit speed at the same time.
This is the non-PoE model. It passes data to IP phones, access points and cameras but will not power them — for that you need the 2530-24G-PoE+ (J9773A). It is also a Layer 2 access switch, so routing between subnets is handled by a router or core switch above it.

| Grade | What to expect |
|---|---|

This unit: Grade A — Excellent.
Does this switch supply PoE?
No. The J9776A is the non-PoE model. To power IP phones, access points or cameras you need the 2530-24G-PoE+ (J9773A).
Are SFP modules included?
No. The four SFP slots are supplied empty. HPE specifies SFP transceivers of revision B or later (part numbers ending in B or a later letter).
What is supplied?
The switch and a power cable. Rack-mounting ears are not included.
Is it Layer 2 or Layer 3?
Layer 2. It handles VLANs, QoS and link aggregation, but it does not route between subnets.
How do I manage it?
Through a web browser, the CLI over the console port or SSH, or SNMP. The console port accepts RJ-45 or USB Micro-B.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs apply based on size and destination — rates are calculated at checkout.
What warranty is included?
