Description

HP EliteDesk 800 G5 SFF — 6-Core Business Desktop in a Compact Chassis

  • Intel Core i5-9500 (9th Gen, 6 cores, 3.0–4.4GHz) — six-core performance for demanding office and multi-application workloads
  • 8GB DDR4 RAM — expandable to 64GB for future-proofing and memory-intensive workflows
  • 256GB NVMe SSD for fast boot times, instant application launches, and responsive file access all day
  • Windows 11 Pro pre-installed with BitLocker, Remote Desktop, and enterprise management support
  • Small Form Factor (SFF) chassis — compact enough for tight spaces while supporting PCIe expansion cards
  • USB 3.1, USB-C, HDMI, DisplayPort, and Gigabit Ethernet for full business peripheral connectivity

The HP EliteDesk 800 G5 SFF brings six-core Coffee Lake Refresh performance to the enterprise desktop in a compact small-form-factor chassis. The Intel Core i5-9500 boosts up to 4.4GHz across 6 cores, providing noticeably more compute headroom than its quad-core predecessors — making it well suited for spreadsheet-heavy workloads, multi-tab browsing, Teams meetings, and light virtualisation use cases.

The 256GB NVMe SSD ensures the system is responsive from the moment you power it on, while 8GB of DDR4 RAM handles typical business multitasking comfortably. Windows 11 Pro ships pre-installed and activated, meaning the unit is ready for deployment out of the box. With USB-C, HDMI, DisplayPort, and GbE on board, it connects to modern docks, monitors, and peripherals without adapters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I add a discrete graphics card to the G5 SFF?
Yes — the G5 SFF has a low-profile PCIe x16 slot that accepts LP graphics cards. Note that the 180W power supply limits the GPU choices; verify your card's power requirements before purchasing.

Is Windows 11 Pro fully activated?
Yes — each unit ships with a genuine Windows 11 Pro licence that is activated and ready for use. You can domain-join, enrol in Intune, or use Remote Desktop immediately.

Can I upgrade the RAM?
Yes — the G5 SFF supports up to 64GB of DDR4 across two DIMM slots, making it a cost-effective upgrade path if your workloads grow beyond 8GB.

Frequently asked questions

What does the warranty cover?

Our warranty covers all hardware faults, but please note it doesn’t cover accidental damage or software issues. However, we’re here to help with technical support for those matters!

What is a refurbished device?

A refurbished device is a pre-owned item that has been restored to meet high-quality standards. At Reboot IT, we adhere to strict quality guidelines, ensuring that our refurbished products are not the same as used or secondhand items. We meticulously clean, test, and assess each device, replacing worn parts with high-quality components.

Unlike used items, which lack guarantees and rely solely on the seller's word regarding condition, refurbished devices come with assurance of quality and reliability.
