The EliteDesk 800 G1 Mini is well-suited to reception desks, point-of-sale terminals, digital signage, and thin-client replacements where space is tight and tasks are predictable. The i5-4590T handles web browsing, document editing, email, spreadsheets, and light media playback without hesitation, while the SSD keeps the machine feeling responsive.

With DisplayPort and VGA outputs on board, it connects to a wide range of monitors — including older VGA panels — supporting dual-monitor configurations out of the box. USB 3.0 ports front and rear handle external storage and peripherals. For small business deployments, the mini desktop can be VESA-mounted behind a monitor, keeping the desk completely clear.

There is no operating system installed, so you have complete freedom: deploy Windows 10 (which runs well on this hardware), a Linux distribution, or even a thin-client OS. Note that the i5-4590T is 4th generation and does not meet Microsoft’s official TPM 2.0 requirement for a standard Windows 11 upgrade path.

All-in-one Solution for Home Office

I was looking for an in-expensive all-in-one solution for my home office to replace my existing desktop and monitor. I found this EliteOne 800 on reboot IT for under $200. I wasn't sure what to expect. It arrived within two days!!!! I upgraded the RAM, replaced the HDD and installed Windows 11. This is unbeatable value and was the cheapest price online. Fair tech for price

Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.

Works excellently as advertised.

The laptop was sold with a warning about worn keycaps. In fact they had been obviously vandalised (ex school laptops, perhaps?). The keyboard worked fine, and the rest of the laptop too. I'm using it as a file server, so I don't need the keyboard much. So very pleased, and also pleased with reboot-it's service - as always, excellent, and quick responses to any queries.
