The 12GB of RAM and the SSD together make a much bigger difference than the price gap suggests. Boots are far quicker and heavy browser use stops being a problem. If you are choosing between the Elite 8300 configurations, this is the one.
Does this come with Windows installed?
No — this unit ships with no operating system. It is compatible with Windows 10 if you hold a licence, and with most Linux distributions including Ubuntu, Linux Mint and Debian.
Will it run Windows 11?
Not officially. The Core i5-3470 is a 3rd Generation processor and falls outside Microsoft's supported CPU list for Windows 11. Windows 10 or Linux are the practical options.
Can I add more storage?
Yes. The chassis has spare SATA bays and connectors, so you can add a second drive alongside the 250GB SSD for bulk storage while keeping the OS on solid state.
Does it support two monitors?
Yes. DisplayPort and VGA outputs run two displays at once. A DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter works if your monitor only has HDMI.
Is a keyboard, mouse or monitor included?
