What is a refurbished device?
A refurbished device is a pre-owned item that has been restored to meet high-quality standards. At Reboot IT, we adhere to strict quality guidelines, ensuring that our refurbished products are not the same as used or secondhand items. We meticulously clean, test, and assess each device, replacing worn parts with high-quality components.
Unlike used items, which lack guarantees and rely solely on the seller's word regarding condition, refurbished devices come with assurance of quality and reliability.

This is the Precision 3581 at the top of its range. A 14-core Core i9-13900H, 64GB of memory, a 1TB NVMe SSD and an NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation professional graphics card with 8GB of GDDR6, behind a Full HD touchscreen. The RTX 2000 Ada is a current-generation professional GPU — a substantial step above the entry-level workstation cards usually found in a 15.6-inch chassis — and with 64GB of memory alongside it, this machine takes on work that would normally need a desktop.
Very little in a 15.6-inch chassis is specified like this. The RTX 2000 Ada has 8GB of dedicated memory and current-generation Ada architecture, which means it handles large CAD assemblies, GPU rendering and real-time visualisation rather than merely running the software. The Core i9-13900H supplies 14 cores of sustained processing for renders, simulations and compiles, and 64GB of memory removes the ceiling that forces most laptops to swap to disk. The 1TB NVMe SSD means project files, libraries and virtual machines can all sit locally.

How much faster is the RTX 2000 Ada than an entry workstation card?
Considerably. It has 8GB of dedicated memory against 4GB on entry cards, and a current-generation Ada architecture, so it handles larger models and GPU rendering rather than just displaying them.
Is 64GB of memory excessive?
Not for large assemblies, point clouds, video projects or several virtual machines at once. For general office work it is far more than you need.
Can this replace a desktop workstation?
For most professional work, yes. Add an external monitor, keyboard and mouse and it will do the job of a desktop while still travelling when you need it to.
Does it come with a charger?
Yes, a compatible power adapter is included. This configuration uses a higher-wattage adapter, so please use the one supplied.
Is Windows included and activated?
Yes. Windows 11 Pro is installed and activated.
Do I need a special SIM for the 4G?
No. The laptop takes a standard Australian data SIM. You will need a data plan; the SIM itself is not included.

Current-generation professional graphics
The RTX 2000 Ada brings 8GB of dedicated memory and Ada architecture. That is enough to drive large CAD assemblies, GPU rendering and real-time visualisation, not merely display them.
A genuine desktop replacement
A 14-core i9 with professional graphics and 1TB of fast local storage does the work of a desktop workstation. Add a monitor and keyboard at the desk, and fold it shut when you travel.
64GB removes the ceiling
Most laptops force you to work around available memory. With 64GB you can open very large models, point clouds or several virtual machines at once and keep everything resident.
Flagship specification, refurbished price
New, a workstation configured like this is a major purchase. Professionally tested and graded, it costs a fraction of that and still carries a 12-month warranty from Reboot IT.
