This is the monitor for a docked laptop. The panel itself is a solid 1080p office display, but the reason to choose it over a cheaper 24-inch is the USB-C connection — video, peripherals and charging all arrive over one cable, which removes the separate dock and the tangle that goes with it. In hot-desking offices that single change eliminates most of the morning "why won't this screen wake up" support load.
At 23.8 inches and 1080p the pixel density sits near 93 PPI, which is the density Windows was designed around. Text renders cleanly at 100% scaling with none of the blurry-application problems that scaled higher-resolution screens sometimes introduce. For documents, email, browsers, line-of-business applications and video calls, that predictability is worth more than extra pixels.
This unit is supplied without its stand, so budget for a VESA 100 x 100mm arm or wall mount. Any tilt, height or swivel adjustment comes from the mount you choose, not from the panel. At 250 cd/m² brightness it is pitched at a normally lit office rather than a bright, sun-facing room, and the 60Hz refresh suits productivity work rather than gaming.

Will it charge my laptop over USB-C?
Yes, provided your laptop supports charging over USB-C Power Delivery. That covers most modern ultrabooks and business laptops, but high-wattage mobile workstations may charge slowly or not at all.
Is the stand included?
No. This unit is supplied as the monitor only, with no stand or base. It is VESA 100 x 100mm compatible, so it mounts to a standard monitor arm or wall bracket, which you will need to supply.
Does it have VGA?
No. Video inputs are USB-C, HDMI and DisplayPort. To connect an older VGA-only machine you would need an active adapter.
Does the USB hub work over HDMI or DisplayPort?
The hub is carried over the USB-C connection, or over a separate USB upstream cable if you connect video by HDMI or DisplayPort. Video alone over HDMI or DisplayPort gives you picture only.
Does it work with a MacBook?
Yes — connect over USB-C for video, hub access and charging on Macs that support DisplayPort Alt Mode, which covers current MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models.
Does it have built-in speakers?
No. The P2419HC does not include speakers. Audio comes from the connected device or an external set.
How is it shipped?
Shipping costs apply based on size and destination — rates are calculated at checkout. Monitors are packed with protective padding for transit.
This monitor is covered by a 12-month warranty from Reboot IT. If a fault develops within the warranty period, contact us and we will arrange assessment, repair or replacement. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply in addition to this warranty and are not limited by it.
