The P2317H is a dependable general-purpose office monitor and a very common sight in Australian corporate fleets. That ubiquity is a practical advantage: behaviour is predictable, the stand tolerates repeated redeployment, and spares and mounts are easy to source. It does the job without asking anything of you.
Full HD across 23 inches gives a comfortable pixel pitch, so text stays sharp at 100% scaling and older line-of-business applications render as intended. The IPS panel holds colour evenly across the surface and from any seating position, which is what makes side-by-side window comparison and over-the-shoulder review workable in a way TN panels never quite manage.
Two of these side by side make a genuinely productive dual-screen desk. The USB hub puts four ports within reach at the monitor, with the two USB 3.0 ports mounted on the side for flash drives and the two USB 2.0 ports underneath for a keyboard and mouse you leave connected. Does it have VGA?
Yes. Video inputs are VGA, HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2, so it connects to both legacy and current machines without an adapter.
What USB ports does it have?
Four downstream ports — two USB 3.0 on the side and two USB 2.0 underneath — plus one upstream port. A USB upstream cable from the monitor to your PC is required to activate the hub.
Is the stand included?
Yes. The full-function stand is supplied, giving height adjustment, tilt, swivel and pivot into portrait. The panel is also VESA 100 x 100 compatible if you prefer an arm.
Will it work with a USB-C laptop?
Yes, using a USB-C to HDMI or USB-C to DisplayPort adapter or a dock. The monitor has no USB-C input, so it will not charge a laptop over a single cable.
What is the difference between the Excellent and Good grades?
Both grades are fully tested and carry the same 12-month warranty. The difference is cosmetic only — Excellent units have minimal marks, Good units show more visible signs of prior office use on the bezel, chassis or stand.
Does it have speakers?
No. The P2317H has no built-in speakers. Dell offers an optional clip-on soundbar for the P-series, sold separately.
How is it shipped?
Shipping costs apply based on size and destination — rates are calculated at checkout. Monitors are packed with protective padding for transit.
This monitor is covered by a 12-month warranty from Reboot IT. If a fault develops within the warranty period, contact us and we will arrange assessment, repair or replacement. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply in addition to this warranty and are not limited by it.
