Performance In Use

The i7-8700 was a significant step up in its generation, moving from four cores to six, and it remains a strong performer. Twelve threads at up to 4.6GHz comfortably handles the workloads most businesses run day to day — large spreadsheets, line-of-business applications, video conferencing and heavy browser use simultaneously. With 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD behind it, the machine feels quick rather than merely sufficient.

The IPS panel is a genuine differentiator at this level. IPS delivers more accurate colour and much wider viewing angles than the cheaper panel types often fitted to all-in-ones, which matters whenever a screen is shared, viewed from an angle, or used for work where colour matters. The anti-glare coating copes well with normal office lighting.

Unlike some units in this range, this one has wireless fitted — Intel Wireless-AC with Bluetooth 5 — so it can be placed without regard to network cabling. Combined with the height-adjustable stand and single-cable setup, it is straightforward to deploy anywhere there is a power point.

A – Excellent Minimal cosmetic marks. Screen free from scratches, dead pixels or discolouration under normal viewing. Chassis, stand and bezel in very good order with only light handling marks visible on close inspection.
B – Good Light to moderate cosmetic wear consistent with normal office use — surface scuffs or minor scratches on the chassis or stand. Screen remains free from distracting marks. Fully tested and functional.

Cosmetic grading refers to appearance only. Every unit is functionally tested to the same standard regardless of grade.

Does this have Wi-Fi?

Yes. This unit has Intel Wireless-AC with Bluetooth 5 fitted, so it can connect wirelessly as well as by wired Ethernet.

Is this a touchscreen?

No. This is a non-touch IPS display. We do stock a touchscreen version of the 7460 if that is what you need.

What is the benefit of the IPS panel?

IPS delivers more accurate colour and much wider viewing angles than cheaper panel types, which matters for shared screens and colour-sensitive work.

Are a keyboard and mouse included?

Peripherals are not guaranteed with refurbished units. Please contact us before ordering if you need a keyboard and mouse supplied.

Can I mount this on an arm or wall?

Yes. The chassis carries a standard VESA mounting pattern once the stand is removed, so it can be arm or wall mounted.

Is this covered by warranty?

Yes — a full 12-month Reboot IT warranty is included, handled from our Melbourne workshop.

Do you ship Australia wide?

Can you supply a tax invoice?

Fair tech for price

Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.
