What is a refurbished device?
A refurbished device is a pre-owned item that has been restored to meet high-quality standards. Unlike used items, which lack guarantees and rely solely on the seller's word regarding condition, refurbished devices come with assurance of quality and reliability.

The Core i7-5600U is a dual-core, four-thread processor at up to 3.2GHz with vPro support — the strongest chip Dell offered in the E7250. For focused office work, browsing and video calls it remains perfectly usable, though it is a 5th-generation part and will not keep pace with modern multitasking.
The 128GB SSD is modest but fast. It is enough for an operating system and working documents, particularly in a cloud-first setup, and the drive is user-replaceable if you need more. 8GB of memory is adequate for the workloads this machine suits.
It ships without an operating system, which is deliberate: the 5th-generation processor is not supported for Windows 11, and Windows 10 has reached end of support, so installing an unpatched OS would not serve you. It is best suited to a Linux deployment, an internally-managed image, or a single-purpose role behind a managed network.

Is the battery replaced?
Batteries are tested, not automatically replaced. Grade A units hold 70% or more of original design capacity and Grade B units 50–70%. Every battery carries a 30-day warranty.
Why is no operating system installed?
This processor generation is not supported for Windows 11, and Windows 10 has now reached end of support, so we supply the machine clean rather than installing an operating system that cannot be kept patched. It is ready for your own Windows licence, a Linux build, or a managed corporate image.
What can I install on it?
Any operating system you hold a licence for — Windows 10 or 11 if your hardware assessment allows it, or a current Linux distribution, which runs well on hardware of this generation and remains fully supported.
What resolution is the screen?
This configuration has the 12.5 inch HD 1366 x 768 panel.
Can I upgrade the memory or storage?
Yes — the E7250 has an accessible memory slot and drive bay under the base panel.
How is data from the previous owner handled?
Every drive is wiped to a documented erasure standard before the machine is listed. Nothing from the prior deployment remains.
