Dell Latitude E5570 — 15.6" Business Laptop with Discrete Radeon Graphics
A professionally tested and graded 15.6-inch business laptop with a 6th Generation Intel Core i7-6600U vPro processor, 16GB of dual-channel DDR4, a 1TB hard drive and discrete AMD Radeon R7 M360 graphics, running Windows 10 Pro. A budget-priced workhorse with plenty of storage — please read the three notes below before ordering, as this machine has real limitations.
1. There is no webcam
This unit was factory-built with a display panel that has a microphone only and no camera. You cannot take video calls on it without plugging in a USB webcam. If Teams, Zoom or Google Meet are part of your day, either budget for an external camera or choose a different machine.
2. Windows 10 only — no upgrade path to Windows 11
This machine runs Windows 10 Pro and cannot be upgraded to Windows 11. Its 6th Generation processor is below Microsoft’s minimum, and its security chip is TPM 1.2 where Windows 11 requires TPM 2.0. Neither can be changed.
Microsoft ended mainstream support for Windows 10 in October 2025, so it no longer receives free security updates. It remains perfectly usable, and Extended Security Updates can be purchased from Microsoft, but you should go in knowing this is not a machine with years of supported life ahead of it.
3. It has a hard drive, not an SSD
Storage is a 1TB mechanical hard drive spinning at 5,400 RPM. That gives you a great deal of space for the money, but it is substantially slower than the solid-state storage in a modern laptop — boot times and application launches will feel sluggish by comparison. The good news is that it uses a standard 2.5-inch SATA bay, so fitting an SSD later is inexpensive and straightforward, and it is the single change that would most transform this machine.
Key Benefits
-
1TB of storage for the price: A full terabyte, where most laptops at this price offer 128GB or 256GB. If you keep large archives, photo libraries or years of project files locally, that capacity is genuinely useful.
-
Discrete AMD Radeon R7 M360 with 2GB: A dedicated graphics chip with its own memory, switchable with the Intel HD 520. It gives this machine more graphics capability than a typical integrated-only business laptop of its era.
-
16GB of dual-channel DDR4: Two matched 8GB modules, double what most laptops in this bracket carry. Comfortable for many applications and browser tabs at once.
-
Core i7 with vPro: The i7-6600U includes Intel vPro Active Management Technology, so it can be managed remotely by IT tooling below the operating system.
-
Every port you actually need: USB 3.0, HDMI, VGA and Gigabit Ethernet all built in — including legacy VGA, which is still required for plenty of older projectors and meeting-room displays.
-
12-month warranty & free AU shipping: Every unit is tested, graded and covered by a 12-month Reboot IT warranty, with free standard shipping anywhere in Australia.
Performance In Use
Be clear about what this is: a 2016-era business laptop offered at a budget price, not a modern machine. The i7-6600U is a dual-core, four-thread processor. For email, documents, spreadsheets, browsing and line-of-business applications it remains perfectly serviceable, and the 16GB of memory means you will not run out of headroom for everyday multitasking.
The hard drive is what you will notice most. A 5,400 RPM mechanical drive means waiting through boot and application launches in a way that solid-state storage removed years ago. If you buy this machine, fitting a 2.5-inch SATA SSD is the single best thing you can do to it, and it costs very little. The 1TB drive can then be kept as an external archive.
It suits a specific buyer well: someone who needs a large, cheap 15.6-inch machine for straightforward desk work, who does not take video calls on it, and who is comfortable running Windows 10. For anyone else — particularly anyone doing hybrid work with regular video meetings — one of our newer Latitude or ThinkPad listings will be a far better fit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it really have no webcam?
Correct. Dell offered this panel in a microphone-only version without a camera, and that is the configuration this unit was built with. It is not a fault and it cannot be added without replacing the entire display assembly. Any USB webcam will work if you need one.
Can I upgrade it to Windows 11?
No. Windows 11 requires an 8th Generation processor or newer and TPM 2.0. This machine has a 6th Generation processor and TPM 1.2, so it fails both requirements. Windows 10 Pro is the highest version it can officially run.
Can I fit an SSD?
Yes, easily. The drive sits in a standard 2.5-inch SATA bay with a 7mm caddy. Any 2.5-inch SATA SSD will drop straight in, and doing so is by far the biggest improvement you can make to this machine. We recommend a qualified technician to keep your warranty intact.
Is this laptop new or refurbished?
It is a professionally refurbished business laptop. Each unit is inspected, tested, cleaned and graded by our Melbourne team before it ships.
Is the keyboard backlit?
No. This unit was factory-configured with the non-backlit US English keyboard.
What is the screen resolution?
1366×768 (HD) on a 15.6-inch anti-glare panel. That is lower than the 1920×1080 Full HD you would find on a newer machine, and text and images are correspondingly less sharp.
Can I upgrade the memory?
Both SODIMM slots are already filled with 8GB modules for 16GB in total. Upgrading further would mean replacing both, and for most buyers 16GB is ample for what this machine is suited to.
Does it come with a charger?
Yes, a compatible power adapter is included so the laptop is ready to use on arrival.
How much does shipping cost?
This laptop qualifies for free standard AU shipping, delivered anywhere in Australia at no extra cost.
What warranty is included?
Every unit is covered by a 12-month Reboot IT warranty, with an additional 30-day battery warranty for peace of mind.
