The 7430 is one of the newer machines in the refurbished market, and the 12th Gen processor is the reason. Intel’s hybrid design splits work between performance and efficient cores, so background tasks — sync, indexing, updates, a video call’s encoding — sit on the efficient cores and leave the performance cores free for whatever you are actually doing.
In practice that means a machine that stays responsive when it is busy rather than only when it is idle. With 16GB of memory and NVMe storage it handles a heavy browser session, Teams, and a stack of Office documents without the pauses that a lesser configuration would show.

Every Latitude 7430 goes through the same bench process before it is graded: a full hardware diagnostic across processor, memory and storage; a battery health reading recorded against the grade thresholds; keyboard, trackpad and every port exercised individually; camera, microphone and speakers checked; Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connected and verified; and the display inspected under white and black screens for dead pixels, backlight bleed and pressure marks. The drive is then securely wiped and Windows 11 Pro installed fresh and activated.
Supplied with the laptop and a compatible charger. Original packaging, manuals and additional accessories are not included unless specifically noted. Any cosmetic marks beyond the stated grade are photographed and described at the point of sale.
Is this a 2-in-1 or a touchscreen model?
No. This is a standard clamshell laptop with a non-touch 14" Full HD display. The Latitude 7430 was also sold as a 2-in-1, but this configuration is not that model.
What does the 12th Gen hybrid architecture actually do?
It splits work between performance cores and efficient cores. Background tasks run on the efficient cores, leaving the performance cores free, so the machine stays responsive when busy.
How does the i5-1245U compare to an 11th Gen i5?
The 12th Gen part has ten cores against four, thanks to the hybrid design, and handles background load noticeably better.
Can the memory be upgraded later?
No. Memory on the Latitude 7430 is soldered to the board, so the 16GB configuration is fixed. It is ample for standard business workloads.
Can I run two monitors?
Yes. Iris Xe graphics support external displays over USB-C and HDMI for a dual-screen desk setup.
What condition will it arrive in?
Grade A (Excellent) units show minimal signs of use; Grade B (Good) units show light cosmetic wear. Both are fully tested and working.
