Dell Latitude 7420 2-in-1 — 14" Touch Convertible with Built-in 4G LTE
A premium convertible Latitude: an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1145G7, 16GB of memory and a 256GB NVMe SSD behind a 14-inch Full HD touchscreen that folds through 360 degrees and takes pen input. It carries built-in 4G LTE mobile broadband, Wi-Fi 6 and Thunderbolt 4. Professionally tested and graded by Reboot IT and backed by a 12-month warranty.
Key benefits
-
Built-in 4G LTE. A CAT16 modem with eSIM support means you work from a train, a client site or a cafe without tethering to a phone or trusting public Wi-Fi.
-
True 360-degree convertible. The hinge folds flat through laptop, tent, stand and tablet modes, and the anti-reflective Full HD panel supports pen input for annotating and signing.
-
11th Gen Core i5 with Iris Xe. Four cores and eight threads reaching 4.40GHz, with Intel Iris Xe graphics — a substantial step over the UHD graphics of earlier Latitudes for multi-display work.
-
Wi-Fi 6 and Thunderbolt 4. Current-generation wireless, and a single Thunderbolt cable carries power, data and dual external displays from one dock.
-
Enterprise security built in. Fingerprint reader, contacted smartcard reader, TPM 2.0 and an infrared camera for Windows Hello face sign-in.
-
Genuinely portable. Around 1.4kg in an aluminium chassis with a 63Wh battery and 65W USB-C charging, so one charger covers laptop and phone.
Performance in use
This is a machine for people who work away from a desk. The LTE modem is the feature that changes the day — no hunting for Wi-Fi, no hotspotting off a phone with a flat battery. Combined with a 1.4kg aluminium chassis it is genuinely portable in a way a 15-inch machine is not.
The i5-1145G7 handles ordinary business load comfortably: a browser with plenty of tabs, Outlook, Teams, Office documents and a remote desktop session all sit within 16GB. Iris Xe graphics drive the built-in panel plus external displays over Thunderbolt or HDMI, which makes a two-monitor desk setup straightforward.
One thing to be straight about: the 16GB of memory is LPDDR4 soldered to the mainboard and cannot be upgraded later. That is standard across the convertible Latitude range and the reason a 16GB configuration is worth having over an 8GB one. The 256GB NVMe SSD can be replaced or upgraded.

Frequently asked questions
Does the 4G LTE need a separate plan?
Yes. The modem and SIM support are built in, but you supply your own data SIM from any Australian carrier. Once activated, Windows treats it as an ordinary network connection with no additional software required.
Can the memory be upgraded?
No. The 16GB is LPDDR4 soldered to the mainboard, which is standard across the convertible Latitude range. It is the main reason a 16GB configuration is worth having over an 8GB one. The NVMe SSD can be replaced or upgraded.
Is a pen included?
A pen is not included as standard. The display supports active pen input and a compatible stylus can be fitted later. Please ask before ordering if a pen matters to you.
What can I do with the 360-degree hinge?
The screen folds all the way back, so the machine works as a normal laptop, as a tent for presenting to someone opposite you, as a stand for watching or reading, or flat as a tablet. Windows switches modes automatically.
Is Windows 11 Pro licensed?
Yes. The machine ships with a genuine activated copy of Windows 11 Pro, installed fresh and fully updated before dispatch.
How is it shipped?
Free standard AU shipping is included. Orders are packed in protective packaging and dispatched from our Melbourne warehouse with tracking supplied.
What does the warranty cover?
A 12-month warranty covering hardware faults under normal use, with batteries covered for 30 days as consumable items. Support is handled locally by our own technicians in Melbourne.
