Can I access the BIOS on this laptop?
No — this unit has a BIOS password set and the BIOS setup screen cannot be accessed. The laptop boots directly from the SSD into Windows and operates normally as a standard device. All hardware functions correctly. If you need to change BIOS settings such as boot order or enable virtualisation, this unit is not suitable for that purpose.
Does the 4G LTE work straight away?
The LTE module is built in but you'll need to insert a nano SIM card and activate a data plan with your preferred carrier. It supports LTE bands compatible with Australian networks (Telstra, Optus, Vodafone).
Is the RAM upgradeable?
No — the 8GB LPDDR3 RAM is soldered directly to the motherboard and cannot be expanded. This is standard on the 7390 2-in-1 chassis.
Can the SSD be upgraded?
Yes — the 256GB M.2 SSD is replaceable. Note this model uses a SATA SSD (not NVMe), so purchase a compatible M.2 SATA drive for an upgrade.
Does it come with an active stylus/pen?
No — an active pen is not included. The touchscreen supports standard multi-touch input. A Dell active stylus can be purchased separately for drawing or note-taking.
What's the difference between Excellent and Good grade?
Excellent grade units have minimal cosmetic wear and battery health above 70%. Good grade units may show moderate scuffs or minor marks on the casing, with battery health between 50–70%. All units are fully functional and tested. Both grades include a 30-day battery warranty.

Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.
The laptop was sold with a warning about worn keycaps. In fact they had been obviously vandalised (ex school laptops, perhaps?). The keyboard worked fine, and the rest of the laptop too. I'm using it as a file server, so I don't need the keyboard much. So very pleased, and also pleased with reboot-it's service - as always, excellent, and quick responses to any queries.
