Where most refurbished machines arrive with Intel management disabled, this unit shipped with vPro Technology enabled - meaning genuine out-of-band access for remote patching, BIOS-level recovery and hardware diagnostics even when the operating system will not boot.

What does Intel vPro actually give me?
It allows IT to manage the machine remotely below the operating system - power it on, patch it, access the BIOS and run diagnostics even if Windows will not start. Most refurbished units have this disabled; this one does not.
