This is a bare system board harvested from a working Dell Latitude 5330 2-in-1. It's the ideal repair part when a unit has a failed motherboard — liquid damage elsewhere, a cracked screen you're transplanting from, or a board that no longer powers on — letting you recover an otherwise good chassis rather than scrapping it.
The 12th-Gen i5-1235U and its memory are permanently soldered to the board, so the CPU and RAM are fixed — there are no SODIMM slots on this platform. Storage and wireless remain modular: fit your own M.2 2230 NVMe SSD and an Intel Wi-Fi 6E (AX211) card to complete the build.
Installation is a technician-level job — transferring the board into the chassis, reconnecting the display, battery, antennas, speakers and I/O, and reapplying thermal paste. We recommend fitting by an experienced repairer.

The Latitude 5330 2-in-1 convertible only. It does not fit the standard Latitude 5330 clamshell or the Latitude 5430 — those use different boards.
Can I upgrade the CPU or RAM?
No. Both the i5-1235U processor and the DDR4 memory are permanently soldered to the board — there are no CPU sockets or SODIMM slots on this platform.
Does it include an SSD, RAM sticks or a Wi-Fi card?
The RAM is soldered on so it's included by design. The board ships without an M.2 SSD or Wi-Fi card — fit your own M.2 2230 NVMe SSD and Intel AX211 Wi-Fi 6E card.

Yes. The 12th-Gen i5-1235U and on-board TPM 2.0 meet Windows 11 requirements.

Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.
