⚠ Important — BIOS / Setup Password Locked (Sold As-Is)
This unit has a BIOS/Setup password that we are unable to remove. It is configured to boot directly from the internal SSD, so it powers on and runs Windows 11 Pro normally and is fully usable for everyday work. However, you cannot enter BIOS Setup to change settings (such as boot order), and the operating system cannot be reinstalled from a USB or external drive. It is sold on this as-is basis at a reduced price. All other hardware and functions have been tested and are fully working.
The Latitude 5310 2-in-1 is built for mobile professionals. The i7-10610U vPro processor comfortably runs Office, dozens of browser tabs, Teams and Zoom, and light photo editing, while the NVMe SSD keeps Windows 11 Pro feeling snappy from cold boot to shutdown.
Its standout feature is flexibility — flip it into tent mode for a client presentation, fold it flat into tablet mode for the responsive touchscreen, or use it as a conventional ultraportable laptop. At 1.32kg with a 60Wh battery and ExpressCharge, it is easy to carry between meetings and top up quickly.
As noted above, this particular unit is sold as-is because its BIOS Setup is password-locked. It boots and runs Windows perfectly for normal use; just be aware the OS cannot be reinstalled and BIOS settings cannot be changed.

What does "BIOS locked" mean for this laptop?
The BIOS/Setup menu is password-protected and we cannot remove it. The laptop is set to boot from its internal SSD, so it powers on and runs Windows 11 Pro normally and is fully usable. You simply cannot enter BIOS Setup to change settings such as boot order.
Can I reinstall or reset Windows on this laptop?
No. Because the boot order can't be changed, the operating system cannot be reinstalled from a USB or external drive. It boots and runs from the installed SSD perfectly for everyday use — please buy it to use as-is. This is reflected in the reduced price.
Is it still covered by warranty?
Yes — it includes a 12-month Reboot IT warranty covering hardware faults. The disclosed BIOS-lock limitation and operating-system reinstallation are excluded, as these are known and reflected in the price.
Does it work as a tablet?
Yes. The 360-degree hinge lets you use it as a laptop, in tent mode, or folded flat as a tablet with the full Full HD touchscreen.

Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.
The laptop was sold with a warning about worn keycaps. In fact they had been obviously vandalised (ex school laptops, perhaps?). The keyboard worked fine, and the rest of the laptop too. I'm using it as a file server, so I don't need the keyboard much. So very pleased, and also pleased with reboot-it's service - as always, excellent, and quick responses to any queries.
