Cisco TelePresence SX10 Quick Set – 1080p All-in-One Video Conferencing Camera

An all-in-one Cisco video conferencing unit that combines the camera, codec and microphone in one compact body. It delivers 1080p30 video with 5x zoom and an 83° field of view to your own display over HDMI, runs from a PoE network port, and is backed by a 12-month warranty from Reboot IT.

Performance in Use

The SX10 turns any flat-panel TV or monitor into a video conferencing room. Mount it above or below the screen, connect HDMI out to the display and a network cable to a PoE switch, and the room is ready for calls. With the camera, codec and microphone in one body there is no separate codec box to hide.

In a huddle room or small meeting room, the 83° horizontal field of view takes in a small table of people, and the 5x zoom lets you tighten the shot on a presenter or whiteboard. Video is sent at up to 1080p30, and a laptop plugged into one of the two inputs can share slides or spreadsheets into the call.

For IT teams, the SX10 registers to Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Video Communication Server or Webex, and calls using SIP or H.323. That makes it a cost-effective way to add rooms to an existing Cisco video estate, or to build a test and training setup for Cisco collaboration.
