The Cisco Meraki MX84 is an enterprise security appliance and firewall delivering up to 500 Mbps stateful throughput, site-to-site VPN and content filtering — all managed from Meraki's cloud dashboard. A 1U rack-mount unit ideal for branch offices and mid-size sites, backed by a 12-month Reboot IT warranty. Requires an active Meraki licence to operate (not included).

Performance in Use

The MX84 is a security gateway for organisations that want enterprise protection without the complexity of traditional firewalls. Everything — firewall rules, VPN tunnels, content filtering, traffic analytics — is configured through the Meraki cloud dashboard, so a branch appliance can be provisioned centrally and shipped to site for zero-touch deployment.

At 500 Mbps of stateful firewall throughput it suits mid-size offices and branch locations, with site-to-site VPN making it straightforward to link multiple sites into one managed network. The dashboard's live analytics and reporting give clear visibility of traffic, clients and threats, which simplifies both day-to-day operations and compliance.

Important: like all Meraki hardware, the MX84 needs an active Meraki licence to function — the licence unlocks the dashboard and security features. This unit is supplied as hardware only; you (or your Meraki partner) supply the licence. The MX84 has also reached Cisco End-of-Life, so confirm your licence and support needs before deploying.

All-in-one Solution for Home Office

Fair tech for price

Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.
