The 10.5-inch iPad Pro was the model that introduced ProMotion, and it is still the feature you notice first. Scrolling, drawing and even moving a finger around the screen feel unusually fluid because the display refreshes up to 120 times a second. Once you have used it, a 60Hz tablet feels sluggish.
The A10X Fusion has aged well. It was a genuinely powerful chip at launch and it still runs creative applications, handles multiple apps side by side, and plays demanding games. Paired with the wide-colour, 600-nit display and the four-speaker system, it remains a very capable media and creative device.
The cellular model is the one worth having. Australia's 4G LTE networks are running normally and will be for years, so a nano SIM turns this into a properly mobile machine for site work, travel and commuting. With an Apple Pencil it is an excellent notebook and sketchpad; with a keyboard case it handles email and documents comfortably.

Yes - insert a nano SIM with an active data plan. This is a 4G LTE device and Australia's 4G networks are fully operational, so it works normally with all major carriers.
What is ProMotion?
Apple's adaptive refresh rate technology. The display refreshes up to 120 times per second instead of the usual 60, which makes scrolling and Apple Pencil input feel dramatically smoother.
Which Apple Pencil works with it?
The 1st-generation Apple Pencil, which charges via the Lightning port. The 2nd-generation Pencil is not compatible. A stylus is not included.
Is a keyboard included?
No. The Smart Connector supports Apple's Smart Keyboard and third-party cases, but none is included unless the listing states otherwise.
