A dense 1U rack server with an Intel Xeon E5-2630 v2, a generous 64GB of DDR3 memory, eight 2.5-inch drive bays and HP Smart Array P420i RAID — supplied without hard drives so you can fit your own. Backed by a 12-month warranty.

Performance in use

The DL360p Gen8 is HP's space-efficient 1U workhorse. With 64GB of memory already installed, it is well suited to running several virtual machines side by side for a home lab, a small business or a development team.

Eight hot-plug 2.5-inch bays on the Smart Array P420i let you build a fast SSD array, a larger SAS array, or a mix of boot and data volumes. Because it ships without drives, you only pay for the storage you actually want.

Four gigabit ports, two PCIe 3.0 expansion slots and iLO 4 remote management make it easy to slot into an existing rack and manage without standing next to it.

A — Excellent Minimal cosmetic marks from normal rack use. Chassis, bezel and drive bays in clean condition.
B — Good Visible cosmetic wear such as scratches or scuffs on the cabinet. Cosmetic only — condition does not affect how the server runs.

This unit: Grade B — Good. The cabinet has deep scratches. Supplied without hard drives: 5 drive caddies are fitted and 3 of the 8 bays have no caddy.

What condition is the chassis in?

This is a Grade B unit. The cabinet has deep scratches. The marks are cosmetic.

Can I add a second processor?

The DL360p Gen8 supports up to two processors. With one processor only 12 of the 24 memory slots are active.

How much memory can it take?

Up to 384GB with RDIMMs or 768GB with LRDIMMs across 24 slots when two processors are installed.

Is an operating system installed?

No. The server is supplied without an operating system.

How much does shipping cost?
