Performance in use

The DL380 G7 is one of the most widely deployed 2U servers ever built, and it remains a practical choice for a home lab, a small office or a test environment. The Xeon E5620 handles file and print serving, backup targets, domain services and light virtualisation comfortably.

With eight 2.5-inch bays and a Smart Array P411 controller, you can configure mirrored boot drives and a separate RAID data volume in the one chassis. Because this unit ships without drives, there is no previous owner data to worry about and no paying for disks you would replace anyway.

Four gigabit ports make it easy to separate management, storage and user traffic, while iLO 3 lets you check hardware health and reach the console from anywhere on your network.

B — Good Visible cosmetic wear such as scratches or scuffs on the cabinet. Cosmetic only — condition does not affect how the server runs.
