Does this support Windows 11?
No — Intel 6th Generation CPUs are not eligible for Windows 11. The T460 ships with Windows 10 Pro, which receives extended security updates for business through to October 2026. If you need a system that is compatible with Windows 11, choose an 8th Gen or newer model.
How does the Power Bridge dual battery work?
The T460 has a small internal battery that keeps the system alive while you swap the larger external pack — no shutdown required. Carry a charged spare and hot-swap on the fly, ideal for field visits, classrooms or long meeting days away from a charger.
Is the display really a touchscreen?
Yes — this model ships with a 14" Full HD IPS touchscreen (1920×1080, matte anti-glare). You can swipe, scroll and pinch-to-zoom in Windows 10, or use a compatible stylus for annotation.
Can I upgrade the RAM or storage?
Yes — both are upgradeable. The T460 has two SODIMM slots supporting up to 32GB DDR3L total, and the 2.5" SATA bay (currently a 256GB SSD) is user-removable. There is also an M.2 2242 slot for an optional second SSD.
Is the keyboard backlit?
Most T460 configurations ship with a two-stage backlit keyboard. Backlight availability can vary by individual unit — please ask before purchase if this is essential for you.
What about shipping and delivery?
Free standard shipping is included to all Australian addresses. Express options are available at checkout. We also offer 14-day change-of-mind returns on unmarked units and full warranty cover for hardware faults.
What does the 12-month warranty cover?
Hardware defects and functional failures for 12 months from purchase. Excludes accidental damage, liquid ingress and normal cosmetic wear. Battery health is separately warrantied for 30 days from purchase.

I was looking for an in-expensive all-in-one solution for my home office to replace my existing desktop and monitor. I found this EliteOne 800 on reboot IT for under $200. Just having trouble greeting it linked to the internet otherwise it’s okay.
Fair tech for price, good specs for era, serves the purpose. The black keyboard is an interesting rubber like texture clearly by design to pad the screen and avoid the keyboard touching. Screen is great. Still looking for magic formula to enable computer use in the bright bright sunshine. Keyboard taps are loud for someone who likes silent touch. The perfect PC has to exist, like build a bear.
The laptop was sold with a warning about worn keycaps. In fact they had been obviously vandalised (ex school laptops, perhaps?). The keyboard worked fine, and the rest of the laptop too. I'm using it as a file server, so I don't need the keyboard much. So very pleased, and also pleased with reboot-it's service - as always, excellent, and quick responses to any queries.
